Frequently Asked Questions
How do I enrol my child into a gymnastics class?
Contact us to find a suitable time and class for your child to attend a trial. After your trial, ensure you have collected an enrollment pack from reception and return forms at your earliest convenience. Once your forms are returned, your child will be enrolled as 'permanent.' Contact us here.
How do trial classes work?
Firstly, contact us to book in a time that is suitable for your child's age and ability. On the day of the trail, we ask that you arrive 5-10 minutes early to let someone at reception know you are here. Your child will join one of the coaches and their group for the entire duration of the lesson; this way they will get the full experience of one of our fantastic class programs! After the class, your child's coach will speak to you about the appropriateness of the class and group, help you enrol and answer any further questions you may have. To book a trial, contact us here.
What age can my child start gymnastics?
What does my child need to wear?
For all of our recreational classes, we ask that your child attends in fitted clothing, no skirts, dresses, denim, zips or jewellery. All children with hair past shoulder length must have their hair tied back.
Do I have to stay with my child during classes?
No, you are welcome to drop-off and pick-up your child. However, all children must be collected from inside the premises.
Are your coaches qualified?
Yes! We have a fantastic team of dedicated staff that are qualified through Gymnastics Victoria and their education system. Team Adrenalin's management staff also hold regular meetings and training to ensure that all of our coaches are teaching at the high standard we pride ourselves on. See all of our coaches here.
What happens if we miss a lesson?
What is Grading?
Our Level Award Testings or 'Gradings' are for our head coaches to assess athletes and for them to complete all of their level skills so they can move up through our levels system. For more information visit our Parent Portal.
I need to speak to my child’s coach. How do I go about this?
You can find your child's coach in the foyer after or between classes. All coaches are available to speak to parents.
Does my child need to participate in the End of Year Display?
As part of being a member of Team Adrenalin, it is expected that all athletes participate in the EOYD. If for some reason your child is unable to attend, your child’s coach must be notified. For more details on the EOYD, visit here
